Virtua11y: the free, virtual accessibility and digital inclusion conference (Virtual)

Virtua11y is Nomensa’s web accessibility and inclusivity conference taking place over three days from 14-16th May, 2024. Virtua11y brings the leading thinkers and doers in accessibility and digital inclusion to share best practice, the latest thinking and what the future holds for accessibility. Improve Bitcoin Wallet Accessibility (Virtual)

Our first event for accessibility day last year worked out great, so we’ll continue on in 2024 with hands-on improvements to the accessibility of bitcoin software used in the wild. We’re still planning, but will likely have an introductory work-session and then facilitate test, review, and report sessions. Free GAAD Workshop: Stem to Stern Accessibility (Virtual)

In celebration of GAAD, join us for an all-day workshop, Stem to Stern Accessibility. Whether you work in a large or small organization, follow an agile or waterfall process, are experienced or just starting out, this workshop will guide you toward reliably developing accessible and usable products. This workshop is structured to be inclusive and engaging to all skill sets and levels. Through a mix of lecture and highly interactive group work, this workshop covers everything from the beginning to the end in developing a high quality, accessible product. This includes product requirements, procurement, design, development, release, maintenance, and support.

A Virtual Conversation with Alice Wong (Virtual)

Workday’s Product Accessibility Team and the People with Disabilities EBC presents a celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)! This year, Workday is celebrating GAAD by hosting a virtual conversation with disability activist, writer, media maker, and consultant, Alice Wong. Alice lost her ability to speak last year, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still have a lot to say.
